The pale green regions represent Ukrainian-government controlled areas; the pink regions represent areas of Ukraine under Russian control, since 24 February 2022. Crimea (to the south) and Donbass (to the southeast) were controlled by Russia before the offensive began.

UPDATE: RUSSIAN GAINS AS OF 25-II-22:

Russian forces have encircled the cities Konotop and Sumy, and threaten the cities of Kharkiv and Kiev. Russia has not committed all of its forces to the fighting yet.
