THE LIBERTY LOFT: Republicans rallied against Critical Race Theory in three apparently solid blue towns, that is, Glastonbury, Guilford, and New Canaan. In School Board primaries that were held in those towns, grass roots Republicans, a number of whom had never held public office, became motivated to run for School Board positions, when do-nothing Republicans and Soviet Republicans, showed signs that they would not resist plans to teach the racially divisive doctrine in local schools. It remains to be seen, if they can win at the ballot box in November – and in this blog’s opinion, since the State of Connecticut is a client of Scytl, a foreign-based voting machine firm, GOP voters may want to consider the write-in option for those candidates.
