Though the former Whitehouse resident promised to scale back the affair, after backlash from the Covid-conscious public, it appears that the Obamas went ahead as originally planned. Guests were not required to wear masks, in another example of how Covid-19 evidently respects well-connected Democrats, just like the Biblical plague that passed over the homes of the Hebrews, in ancient Egypt.
